Shattered my iPod touch 4g..Please help!?!?!?!?

is there any possible way i can get a new glass for it or fix it some how i really hate it.. i was walking and i slung it out of my hand on accident and it went into all the rocks and gravels now its got like 8 big scratches on it a few of them are little but it costed 300 dollars and i just got it for christmas. ughhhh. Please help.. thank u :(
